What is Snipster?
Snipster is a free online PDF splitter that works in your web browser. Drop in a PDF, type the pages you want, such as 1-3, 7, 9-12, and download a new PDF with just those pages. You can also split every page into its own file. No watermark is ever added.
Pages are copied out as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable. The pages go into the new file in the order you type them, so typing 5, 1-4 also moves page 5 to the front. Every-page splits come back as a ZIP of single-page PDFs.
Your PDF never leaves your computer. It is split by your browser, and the new files stay on your device until you download them. Your original PDF is never changed, so you can split it again as often as you like.
What you can do
Extract pages from a PDF
Type single pages and ranges, like 2, 5-8 or 10- for page 10 to the end, and get one new PDF.
Split every page
Turn each page into its own PDF in one go, delivered as a single ZIP file.
Your page order
Pages are saved in the order you type them, so you can pull out and rearrange in one step.
No quality loss
Snipster copies the original pages without re-drawing them, so text stays selectable.
Private and watermark-free
Splitting runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no logo is added to your pages.

Questions about Split PDF
Is it free to split a PDF?
Yes. Pulling out pages and ranges is free for PDFs up to 50 MB, with no watermark. Splitting every page into separate files is free for PDFs up to 20 pages. You save the result with a free ToolClik account; Pro, at $1.29 a month, removes the page limit and takes files up to 2 GB.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Snipster splits your PDF inside your browser on your own device. ToolClik never receives or stores it.
How do I type the pages I want?
Use commas between pages and dashes for ranges, for example 1-3, 7, 9-12. Leave the end off a range, like 9-, to go to the last page.
Can I split a PDF into single pages?
Yes. Choose “Every page” and Snipster saves each page as its own PDF, all in one ZIP file.
Does splitting reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied across as they are, so text, images and page sizes stay the same.
Can I split a PDF on my phone?
Yes. Snipster works in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android as well as on a computer.
