What is PixSwap?

PixSwap is a free online image converter. Turn PNG into JPG, JPG into PNG, either one into WEBP, or WEBP back to JPG and PNG. It also opens GIF, BMP and SVG files and saves them as PNG, JPG or WEBP.

Pick the format you need and convert up to 5 images at once. JPG can't hold transparency, so when you convert a PNG with a see-through background to JPG, you choose the colour that fills it. SVG logos are drawn at least 1024 pixels wide, so the PNG comes out crisp.

Conversion happens in your web browser, and every picture keeps its full size. Your images are never uploaded and no watermark is added. Download one file at a time or all of them as a ZIP; saving the converted files needs a free ToolClik account.

Which formats can I convert?

You can open JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP and SVG files and save them as PNG, JPG or WEBP. An animated GIF is saved as a still picture.

How do I convert WEBP to JPG?

Drop your WEBP files, choose JPG and press Convert. If the picture has see-through areas, pick the background colour they should get.

Will converting lower the quality?

PNG is lossless, so nothing is lost. JPG and WEBP are saved at 92% quality, which looks the same as the original for nearly every picture.

Are my images uploaded?

No. PixSwap converts your images in your browser on your own device. They are never sent to ToolClik.

Does it work in Safari and on phones?

Yes for PNG and JPG, on computers and phones. Safari can't make WEBP files, so to convert to WEBP use Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
