What is QRky?
QRky is a free QR code generator that runs in your web browser. Choose what the code should hold — a link, plain text, a Wi-Fi login or an email address — and the code appears as you type. Then pick its colours, size and how much damage it can survive.
These are static QR codes. The link or text is written straight into the pattern, so there is no redirect in between and no account behind it that can lapse. The code keeps working for as long as the link it points to works, and nobody tracks who scans it.
The code is drawn on your own device and nothing you type is sent to a server. Save it as a PNG for screens and documents, or as an SVG that stays sharp at any print size. Saving the file needs a free ToolClik account.
What you can do
Links, text, Wi-Fi and email
Make a QR code for a web address, any text, a Wi-Fi network (WPA/WPA2, WEP or open) or an email address with an optional subject line.
Wi-Fi QR codes for guests
Type the network name and password once. Guests point their phone camera at the code and join without typing anything.
Your colours, any size
Set the code colour and the background colour, and choose a size from 128 to 1024 pixels. A live preview shows the result.
PNG or SVG download
PNG works everywhere. SVG is a vector file that stays crisp on posters, menus, stickers and business cards.
Adjustable damage tolerance
Pick Low, Medium, High or Max error correction. Higher settings still scan when the code is scratched or partly covered, but make the pattern denser.
Static codes that never expire
There is no short link or subscription behind your code. What you print today will scan the same way years from now.

Questions about QR Code Maker
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Making QR codes is free, with any colours and both PNG and SVG files. You save the file with a free ToolClik account.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. QRky makes static QR codes: your link or text is stored inside the pattern itself, not behind a redirect. The code works for as long as the link it points to is online.
Can I change the link after printing the QR code?
No. Because the link is written into the code, changing it means making and printing a new code. That is also why it can't expire or be switched off by anyone else.
How do I make a QR code for my Wi-Fi?
Choose Wi-Fi, type the network name and password, and pick the security type (WPA/WPA2 for most home routers). Most phone cameras offer to join the network when they scan it.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites, emails and documents. Use SVG for anything printed, because it scales to any size without going blurry.
Does anyone track scans of my QR code?
No. The code points straight to your link with nothing in between, so there are no scan counts and no tracking. What you type is never sent to ToolClik.
Why won't my QR code scan?
Keep a strong contrast between the code colour and the background, with a dark code on a light background. Very long text makes a dense code, so shorten it or print the code bigger.
