What is IconPop?
IconPop is a free favicon generator. Drop in your logo and it makes the whole set of website icons: favicon.ico, PNG favicons, the Apple touch icon, Android icons and a web manifest. It runs in your web browser and never adds a watermark.
Set a transparent or coloured background, add padding around the logo and round the corners, and see how it looks in a browser tab before you download. The ZIP comes with the HTML lines to paste into your page's head, so the icons show in browsers, on iPhone home screens and on Android.
Your logo is never uploaded; everything is drawn on your own device. It takes PNG, JPG, WEBP or SVG, and a square logo with a transparent background gives the cleanest result at the tiny 16 px size. Downloading the ZIP needs a free ToolClik account.
What you can do
Every icon size
favicon.ico with 16, 32 and 48 px icons inside, 16 and 32 px PNGs, a 180 px Apple touch icon, and 192 and 512 px Android icons.
Web manifest included
A site.webmanifest with your site name and the Android icons, so your site can be added to a home screen.
HTML to paste
Copy the ready-made link tags for your page's head. The same lines are in a README inside the ZIP.
Background, padding and corners
Keep the background transparent or pick a colour, give the logo room to breathe, and round the corners.
Preview before you download
See a large preview and how the icon looks at real size in a browser tab.

Questions about Favicon Maker
Is the favicon generator free?
Yes. The full favicon set is free, with no watermark. Downloading the ZIP needs a free ToolClik account.
What's in the ZIP?
favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px), favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png (180 px), android-chrome-192x192.png, android-chrome-512x512.png, site.webmanifest and a README with the HTML to paste.
How do I add the favicon to my website?
Unzip the files into your site's root folder, then paste the HTML lines IconPop gives you into the <head> of your pages. Browsers can take a while to show a new favicon, so refresh hard if you still see the old one.
What kind of logo works best?
A square PNG with a transparent background, or an SVG, at least 512 px. Wide logos are shrunk to fit the square, so a simple mark or initial reads better at 16 px.
Why does the Apple touch icon have a white background?
iPhones don't show see-through home screen icons well, so when you pick a transparent background, IconPop gives the Apple touch icon a white background and square corners. iOS rounds the corners itself.
Is my logo uploaded?
No. IconPop draws every icon in your browser on your own device. Your logo is never sent to ToolClik.
